The final push...

Training with intensity is so much easier than tapering. As I figure out the final week before the Raw Across the West I am challenged by not how hard to ride, but the opposite how easy and little do I ride to peak at the right time. Looking at the tapering phase as the peaking phase is more realistic after all of the hours spent preparing physically and mentally for this 1044 mile journey. The challenges these race will offer will be blessed opportunities to become stronger spiritually, emotionally and physical. Look forward to the wild ride filled with laughter and many experiences to share at a later date. It will no doubt be memorable.
